Obituary of Stan Syrota

The family of Stanley Peter Syrota wish to announce his peaceful passing on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Pioneer Village at the age of 76. He was predeceased by his parents Harry and Mary Syrota; sister Rose; brother John; and godson Murray Danyluk. Stan’s memory will be cherished by his sons Richard (Lisa) and Darin; brothers Henry (Carole), Albert, Russell and Jacob (Catherine); sisters Anna and Sonia Danyluk (Ken); and grandsons Colton and Jayden. Stan lived in Regina most of his life and was employed at IPSCO for 23 years before he retired. He enjoyed summers at the cottage, traveling, and spending time with his family. A graveside service, prayers and interment will be held at St. Demetrius Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery in Holar District (Elfros, SK) at a later date.
