Obituary of Myrtle Mary LaFontaine

It is with great sadness the family of Myrtle LaFontaine announces her passing on Saturday, August 15, 2020. She is survived by her children, Delores, Brenda (Tony) Husli, Linda, Dorothy, Margaret (Andre) Jefferson, Doug, Bruce, Elaine (Gord) Kullman, Jacqueline, Richard; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband John LaFontaine; son Bernie LaFontaine; daughter-in-law Margaret LaFontiane; parents Edward Denomie and Dorothy (Asapace) Denomie; sisters, Doreen Pederson, Lucy Denomie and Nelda Aubicon. Mrytle was born December 2, 1930 on Kawacatoose Reserve and moved to Regina in 1949 with her husband John, where she resided until her passing. A Celebration of Myrtle's Life will be held at St. Cecilia Church, 5020 – 7^th Ave., Regina, SK at 2:00 p.m., on August 29, 2020. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff of the Palliative Home Care unit and Dr. D. Kothare. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Cecilia Church.
