Obituary of Samantha Papequash

The family of Samantha Papequash are saddened to announce her sudden passing at the age of 23 years old.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Linda Papequash and Leonard Quewazance, Daisy Desjarlais, Christina Papequash, Peter Brass, Desmond Key and Evelyn Papequash; paternal grandfather Wallace McArthur.

Samantha is survived and will be lovingly remembered by her partner Enoch Konneh; children, Caleb, Addison and Enoch; parents Candida Papequash and Dean McArthur; brothers Jonathan, Ian, Cameron, Jacob, Jerah and Adam; sisters Cheyanne and Alicia; aunties Melissa, Chasity, Charity, Charlene, Angie, Bella and Rachel; uncles Brian, Carl, Peter, Charlie, Wayne and Robert; nieces Winona and Natauna; nephews Ryder, Malachi and Aston; best friend Lynn Gonzales, as well as numerous other relatives and friends, too many to mention.

Wake will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at the Saulteaux Plex Hall, Key First Nation, SK. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2020 from the same location with Pastor Allan O’Soup officiating. Interment will follow at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Key First Nation. Out of respect for the family please do not attend if under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
