Lorraine M. Delorme Wĩkask Iskwêw “Sweetgrass Woman” Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Lorraine started her journey to the Creator on March 15, 2016 at the age of 65 with her loving husband and family by her side. Predeceased by her parents, Marybelle Tanner and Daniel Delorme; daughter, Ingrid “Peto” Charmaine; grandson, Manitow-Awasis; brothers, Lawrence (Hawkie), Wayne, sisters, Diane, Danielle Laverdure and special Uncle George. Lorraine will be remembered by her loving husband, Douglas Warren “My Hon”; children, Lianda (Ivan), Reid, Chasity (Lance), Nolan (Justine); brothers, Rudy (Debbie), Dean (Shelly); grandchildren, Taryn, Austin, Daniel, Darian, Dustin, Devon, Dominique, Jordynn, Jayda, Andralynn, Nolan Jr., Willow, Haidynn, Mason, Korban; great-grandchildren, Tia, Konig, Dante; adopted son, Blaine Pinay; special cousin, Alfred “Slim” Tanner; adopted sisters, Hillary Harper and the “Trapper Girls”, Sheila, Lorraine, Myrna, Cheryl, and Eliza; adopted brother, Dutch; special friends, Jocelyn and Robert Merasty and Annie Taypotat; adopted nephews, Curtis Lerat and Cody Roulette; special nieces, Desiree Delorme “Badgirl” and Terry Francis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Lorraine had many hobbies that she was very passionate about. Her most favorite of hobbies were cooking and sewing where she enjoyed sharing with her friends, family and community. Her passion for cooking had her touring the powwow trail with her mobile kitchen business “Koko’s Kitchen” and her love for sewing had her creating traditional regalia for her children and grandchildren. Her most recent project of which she was very proud of had her sharing her sewing skills with the Cowessess First Nation community. The family would like to thank the nurses of 3B at the Pasqua Hospital, with a very special thank you to Kenny. Lorraine’s special request is that flowers be respectfully declined. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Broadway United Church, 105 Broadway Ave. Regina, SK. The family requests that no children be present.
