Obituary of Wilhelmina Ann Grebinsky
Wilhelmina (Ena) Ann Grebinsky (Cattell)
Ena was born April 16, 1929 in Arcola, SK. She passed away on July 21, 2020 in Regina, SK at 91 years of age. She was one of nine children.
Ena held the proud positions of wife to Ed (who passed away in 1992), Mother to Trena (Grant), Jim, and Greg (Cindy), and Grandmother to Matthew, Jordan (Michael), and Carter (Abbey).
She was very excited to become a great grandmother to Mckinley.
Ena was a kind, happy, and generous person. She had a wonderful sense of humour and very surprisingly quick wit. She had simple pleasures and strong values. She had a beautiful soul.
The kitchen was Ena's happy place. It was there that the family would gather to visit. Ena would sit in her chair in the corner with a view to the back yard. The radio was always playing in the background. She would watch the backyard resident jackrabbits, the yearly "Love Birds" (Doves), and her garden lights, all while taking note of the daily weather which was then relayed to whomever called. She had an uncontrollable habit of humming to a tune that only she knew.
Ena was pleasantly entertained by "The Golden Girls", "Polka Dance", and old movies. She loved to dance and used to float like a butterfly around the dance floor doing the 3-step.
Some people should never leave this world and Ena was one of them. She will be so missed by her family, her sister Joyce, her sisters and brothers in law, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends who all knew her as Auntie Ena.
Ena loved her family with all her heart and was deeply loved in return.
We will miss her forever.
In Loving Memory
Wilhelmina Grebinsky
