Obituary of Micheline Helene Josephine Koopman

Sadly, Micheline Helene Josephine Koopman passed away on July 8, 2020 at 83 years of age. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers Andre Laurent (1958) and Lucien Laurent (2016); and sister Renee Laurent (2003). Micheline is survived by her loving son Chris Koopman (Tracy Watts); and grandson Zane Koopman; as well as long time childhood friend Nathalie Nardonne, of France.

Micheline was born in Metz, France in 1937 to Alexander and Georgette Mader (nee Hut). Micheline was born in Metz, France in 1937 to Alexander and Georgette Mader (nee Hut). Before coming to Canada in 1969 mom worked in telecommunications with the French government.

Mom being a lifelong nature lover enjoyed animals, reading, music, and in her younger years parachute jumping. Always a devoted mother, grandmother and mother in law she will be deeply missed but her memories will live on.
