I met Derek when I was pregnant with my daughter. He came to install the windows in the house I shared with my then-husband. He was so kind & professional, and even later brought us a baby gift of a couple adorable outfits, showing his thoughtful & generous nature. We actually kept in touch & remained friends for several years, but drifted apart due to the pandemic. I had messaged him a couple times over the last couple years to check in but had not gotten a response, sadly only now learning of his passing. My heart goes out to all of his friends & loved ones, as I know he will be missed. Rest Peacefully friend.
