Obituary of Dale Allan Sagert

It is with great sadness that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of Dale on July 2, 2020.

God saw Dales heart getting tired and called him home to be with his loved ones that passed before him. He is predeceased by his father Ronald. Dale is survived by his loving mother Patricia; brother Kevin; sisters Karen and Sharon (Kevin); nephews Kolton and Bennett; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
 

Dale was born in Weyburn, SK in July 1973; at the age of 6 his family moved to the Rosemont area of Regina where he grew up and eventually graduated with pride from Martin Collegiate. One of Dale’s fondest memories of high school was being the Equipment Manager for the Martin Monarchs football team; he never missed a practice or a game throughout his high school days. Dale was also a lifelong fan of the Edmonton Oilers, the Saskatchewan Roughriders, and the WWE.

As an adult, one of Dales proudest accomplishments was the career he built over the last 15 years with Tim Hortons. When his health allowed, Dale’s smiling face could be seen behind the counter reciting the orders of his regular customers or cheerfully taking the orders of new ones. Being able to assist with the planning and preparation for the annual Tim Horton’s Camp Day was something Dale looked forward to every year. The love he had for his job was evident to anyone that had the opportunity to meet him. He will be missed by the many people be served daily.

Due to the current restriction put in place because of COVID-19, a small family service will be held for Dale at 11:00 a.m. on July 16 at Christ Lutheran Church, Regina, SK. For the friends that are unable to attend the funeral, the church will live stream the service. Please see the Churches Facebook page for the link. A come and go farewell will be held at 1:00 p.m. for friends and family that want to honor Dale and share memories of his life.
