Obituary of Myrna Dorothy White

Myrna Dorothy White, age 67, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side after a long courageous battle. She was born in Gravelbourg, SK on April 30, 1953, the family later moved to Regina at a young age. Myrna was predeceased by her parents Walter & Georgette Schmidt; Wayne’s parents Dave & Gwen White; as well as 3 of her brothers Wayne, Leonard & Walter Schmidt.

Myrna is survived by her loving husband Wayne of 47 years; son Jason (Marcy); daughter Andrea (Brent); 8 grandchildren Jaysa, Tanner, Colby, Konner, Makaila, Treyden, Parker & Lane; as well as two great-grandchildren Callee and Lacee. Myrna is also survived by her 8 brothers (spouses) Jim (Marlene), George (Marceda), Don, Bryan, Dorothy, Paul (Shawna), Andy (Tracy), Joe (Vonnie), Bill (Allison); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. 

Myrna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to many. In our family she was often referred to as “everyone’s favourite family member” and “Ernie” to the grandkids.  She was an active member of her church, also enjoyed playing cards and visiting with friends and family. She was a big rider fan as well, and rarely missed a game. She had a very adventurous spirit and was always on the go doing something. Her greatest joy was attending her children’s, grandchildren’s and great grandchildren’s events with her husband. Nothing brought her greater joy other than seeing them smile.

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend has earned her wings and is now “Walking With Angels”...until we meet again!

A Celebration of Life will be held at Rosewood Park Church, 1300 N Courtney St, Regina, SK at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2020. Immediately followed by a visitation for friends & family to attend at Wayne & Myrna’s home on 6009 Koep Avenue, Regina, SK.
