Obituary of Letitia Rose Cameron

Please share a memory of Letitia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Letitia Rose Cameron, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.

Tish was predeceased by her loving husband Dale of 47 years; parents Dorothy and Gervase Smith; brother Tom; and parents-in-law Jean and Roddie Cameron. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Angus (Marilyn) and their children Mike, Melissa (Chris) Grant, Scott (Hollie) and their sons Taylor, Rorey and his twin boys Kane and Orion; Daryl (Terry); Stuart (Dierdre) their sons Evan and Drew; sister Donna (Doug) Lynd; brother Ron (Mary Jane); sister-in-law Kathy; numerous nieces and nephews; and very, very dear friends that were her extended family.

Mom loved her family and was so proud of them all and enjoyed regular updates, phone calls or visits from everyone.  Tish was very close to her Mom and you could always find them doing the garage sale circuit every weekend and it was even better when Donna was in town, the three of them were a negotiating team finding treasures for everyone. Mom enjoyed watching every CFL game but had a special spot for her Saskatchewan Roughriders and she never missed a curling match on TV.  She enjoyed her daily crossword puzzles and was very good at them. She was an amazing cook and her recipes will last forever. She left us all with amazing memories.

Tish worked at Westank Willock for many years.  After that Mom and Dad were able to spend more time at the Cameron homestead farm near Findlater and everyone will always remember the delicious meals Mom and Grandma Cameron would bring out to the field during harvest. They both retired from farming in 1999.

Mom adored her dogs Tessie and Charlie and cat Pumpkin and she took the best care of them. The urns of her pets will be buried by her side.

The family would like to say a special thanks to Moms cousin Bev. Bev kept close watch over Mom and provided a deep friendship. Our family cannot thank you enough for all you’ve done.

At Tish’s request there will be no funeral service. There will be a private graveside gathering for the immediate family at the Findlater Cemetery where we be laying her down next to her husband for a very well deserved rest.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Tish may be made to the Findlater Cemetery Fund, Box 20, Findlater SK, SOG 1P0 or to the Regina Humane Society.
