Obituary of Richard Gordon Missal

Please share a memory of Richard to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with great devastation to announce the sudden passing of Richard; our beloved husband, dad, grandpa, brother and uncle due to cancer. Richard was born August 19th, 1957 and passed away April 3rd, 2020. He is preceded by his parents, sisters and mother in-law and father in-law. Left to cherish him is his loving wife Alvena of 42 years, son Aaron Missal (Crystal), daughter Sheri Gibson (Doug) and his pride and joy his beautiful grandchildren; Adrianna Missal, Everett Missal, Paislee Gibson and Emery Gibson, a special brother Dwayne Missal (Leeanne), special nieces Orinda McCann (Ryan), Tereena Hannon (Dave) and many more nieces and nephews. A special Aunt June Missal, a great football buddy Rick Bell, family Richard Partridge and Dustin Campbell and many sister-in –laws and brother in-laws. Richard had a special craft for carpentry and finishing woodwork, which took him into the construction business. He worked with his Westridge family for 29 plus years. Richard loved having family trips with the kids and grandkids from camping to hot holidays.

At this time there will be no funeral until the COVID-19 ends.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Details to follow when we know more on being able to have a large gathering again.
