Obituary of Leonard Norman Rody Sr. 1961-2020

On Tuesday April 2nd, 2020 Leonard (Len) Rody Sr. unexpectedly passed away at the age of 58 in the Regina General Hospital in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Leonard was born on October 24, 1961 in South Hampton, Ontario to Norman and Audrey Rody. He was an honest and loyal man in every aspect of life from family to business. He was well known in many places such as Fort McMurray, Edmonton, Medicine Hat and the provinces of Ontario and Saskatchewan.

He was a proud and loving father of Leonard (Kayla) Rody Jr., Tasha (Darryl) Richard, Josh Rody and David Rody. He will be dearly missed by six grandchildren Haley, Skyler, Brody, Zander, Parker and Dawson. Along with his beloved siblings Paul (Dale) Rody, Cathy (Wayne) Nashkawa, Waneta (Brian) Rody-Hiller, Patricia (Greg Rosenburger) Erelis and numerous nieces and nephews. Survived by the mothers of his children Jennifer Millen and Donna Rody. Predeceased by his father Norman Rody; mother Audrey Rody; nephews Erwin Rody and Paul Rody Jr.

Services will be held in Alberta and Ontario at a date still to be determined. In lieu of flowers we ask that contributions be made to Leonard’s youngest son, David Rody (Age 10) to help with anything he may need for his future.
