Rudy was predeceased by his parents Albert and Helene Klarer; brothers Albert, Walter and Raymond; sister Mildred McAfee, her husband Leonard; and sister Elsie Sauve and her husband Al. He is also predeceased by his in-laws Stanley and Mary Grudzien.

Left to mourn Rudy is his loving wife Lillian; sister-in-laws Alma Klarer, Betty Klarer; special nieces Sandra Klarer and Linda (Lyle) Voss; their children Drew and Bradyn; nephews Robert (Mylinda) Klarer; Albert (Rita) Klarer as well as many other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Rudy will always be remembered for his willingness to lend a hand, sense of humour, generousity and love of animals, as well as the fantastic garden he cultivated year after year, Rudy kept his family stocked with vegetables and raspberries well into the winter months.

The family wishes to thank the incredible team in Palliative care at the Pasqua Hospital for making his final days as comfortable as they could be, we will forever remember your kindness.
