Obituary of Eugenia Shika Gyampadu

Eugenia Shika Gyampadu, well known as Sister to her family and friends, passed away with her immediate family by her side on Thursday, March 19, 2020 in Regina, SK. Eugenia is predeceased by her mother Bernice Dotse; father Emmanuel Kumassah; brothers Newlove Kumassah and Benjamin Kumassah; and her nephew Bernard (Dela).

She is survived by her children Audrey (Nanefua), Belva (Mamekua), Bernard (Abeku), Abraham and Christensen; grandchildren Erica, Sylvian, Shania, Bernice Olivette, Arlissa , Aretha, Thea, Pricilla and Jeremiah; brothers Godknows Kumassah, Cornelius Kumassah, George Kumassah, Emmanuel Kumassah; sister Vinollia Apakoh; nephews Yaw, Reuben, George, Benjamin, Rolland, Julian, Desmond, and Dzifa; nieces Danielle, Emefa, Salorm, Blessing, and Jay.

Eugenia was raised and born in Takoradi, Ghana (West Africa), on April 13, 1959. Eugenia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a caring, peaceful and energetic woman, who loved the Lord and dedicated her gifts as choir director to teach people how to sing and lead worship in church. Eugenia loved sewing, singing and creating beautiful dresses for her family and grandchildren. There will be a service celebrating Eugenia’s life later this year.
