Known as Alec in his home community of Fairford, MB, Alec was admired for his 100 mile an hour pitch in baseball. Later in life Alec worked as a steel worker in Northern Manitoba Projects. Alec will be remembered for his hard work and generosity towards others. Committed to his family and community, Alec did not talk about his many accomplishments in life, rather he focused on the betterment of those around him. Alec generously and consistently filled his day with acts of kindness; known as Mr. Fix-It, a dedicated church member with Amen house and “The best friend you could ever ask for.” A hero to his brothers and to his children, Alec’s contribution to a better world will not be lost.To plant a tree in memory of Harold Marsden, please visit Tribute Store
