Obituary
Obituary of Sharon Lorraine Jordan
Please share a memory of Sharon to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon on Friday, February 7, 2020 at the Regina General Hospital. She passed away quietly in her sleep with family by her side after recently being diagnosed with liver and lung cancer. She is predeceased by her husband Dennis Jordan, father Stan Mills and brother Tom Mills. Sharon is survived by son, Michael Jordan and his partner Tiffany Moore; daughter, Natalie Barry and son-in-law Peter Barry; granddaughters, Hanna Jordan and Alana Barry; grandson James Spur; mother Hazel Mills; brother Murray Mills; and sister Iris Hewson. Our loving mother and grandmother, Sharon Jordan, was a quiet, strong, independent and beautiful, kind hearted person. She taught us how to love, how to give, and how to put others first. She was an amazing caregiver to her late husband and her children. She was born and raised in and around Carlyle, SK where her mother still resides along with her brother. She spent most of her life living in Regina where she ran a daycare out of her home. She loved gardening and her walks with her dog; she loved reading, crosswords and puzzles. She will be deeply missed by her children and grandchildren, and many others. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Regina Memorial Gardens, Hwy 1 East, Regina, SK. Please meet at the front gates of the cemetery. Coffee and tea will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Rockbridge Alliance Church, 1815 Rupert St., Regina, SK. In lieu of flowers donations in Sharon’s memory may be made to www.crohnsandcolitis.ca
