Joseph Aloysius Selinger
Feb. 26, 1946 – Sept. 15, 2015
It is with great sadness that Joseph’s family announces his passing, taken too soon at age 69. Dearly loved by his wife Ann (Dolly); children Shelley, Cory, & Michael; siblings Wilfred, Doreen, Gerald & Eileen. Predeceased by parents Geneva & Aloysius and sister Patricia. Joseph was a loving father & husband, who enjoyed the simple things in life; being outdoors, fishing with his eldest son, attending soccer games with his youngest, polka dancing with his wife, gardening, biking, and more. If wealth was measured in terms of joy, then Joseph was easily the richest man alive. Joseph was born and raised in Dilke, SK. A farm boy at heart, he never lost his love of the outdoors as he grew up, met his wife Dolly, and settled down in Regina to raise their 3 kids, enjoying 42 happy years of marriage. As per Joseph’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Online condolences may be left at www.legacy.com/obituaries/leaderpost. Donations in Joseph’s memory may be made to the SK Heart Foundation.
