Obituary of Majok Agwait Majok

Please share a memory of Majok to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with sadness the family announces Majok Agwait Majok’s sudden and tragic passing, on January 24, 2020 at the age of 23. Beloved son of Athar Meuen and Agwait Majok. Brother to seven siblings Nyajam Sjogren, Mayut Majok, Nyajok Majok, Abok Majok, Adut Majok, Nyanute Majok and Deng Majok. Majok immigrated to Canada June 23rd, 2003 with his mother, father and five siblings at the age of 7. He recently finished his highschool diploma, and Majok’s career as a welding technician had started. Majok is one of those people that would walk into a room and just make everyone feel better. You can be in a really bad situation or mood and just talking with him will make you feel lighter. His smile and laugh alone just cheers people up. He was always trying to make people feel better. He loved his friends as and family so much, he would do anything for them. As a kid he would make up games like dark tag, or hide in seek in the dark, pillow fights, anything he could come up with it. And our whole family would play them. He was always singing and laughing and dancing. Anyone who met Majok knows how much he loves to dance and make people feel good. The bond between our mom and him was amazing. He was her baby boy, and he called her his light. Majok enjoyed playing sports, cooking, music and spending time with friends and family. He was a loving person and will be missed by all. He was one of our dearest friends, son and brother. He was always happy and meant a lot to everyone around him. Heaven most definitely gained an Angel. We especially like to thank Jaida Crichlow for the Gofundme page, and to all those who have donated and will be donating. Those so wishing to, may make donations in memory of Majok can go to www.gofundme.com - Justice for Majok – Murder Victim Memorial Fund organize by Jaida Rae Music.
