Obituary of Mary Coors

To have a relationship last longer than some of us grace this earth is rare. It is an honor to be asked attempt to describe the profound loss that has taken place and I fear that I will fall far short. Mary did not wish a long drawn out obituary but I am compelled to share the love they had for each other and the effect these two had on me when I met them. It is with deep sadness after a long and beautiful life filled with adventure and travel, that Armin has to announce the passing of his beloved wife Mary on Dec 30th, 2019 after a very brief hospital stay. The two shared a bond that only a rare few of any of us will be fortunate enough to experience in our lifetime and the rest of us can only watch from the sidelines and hope that we would find that same love. Mary leaves behind Armin her husband of 47 years whom she met on a blind date, both later in their lives and whom she married 3 months later. Also left to mourn her loss is daughter Karina, Mary’s favorite nephew Andreas (Christina) Coors from Germany and Mary’s brother Ed (Lorraine) Maryniak of Regina. As per Mary’s request there will be no funeral service. Flowers gratefully declined. Those wishing to make a donation may do so to a charity in Mary’s name of your choice. Paragon Funeral and Cremation Services is entrusted to carry out Mary’s final requests. As I struggle to find a way to end this tribute I am compelled to say this. Armin loved Mary dearly and said that after he met her he NEVER looked at another woman. He loved that Mary rallied enough to give him ‘orders’ from her hospital bed the day before she passed and he only wishes now that she were here to continue to do the same. Don’t take for granted your loved ones and don’t sweat the small stuff. There WILL come a day that you will WISH that the ‘small stuff’ was something you had a choice to sweat. Go hug someone you love. ‘Nuf said.
