Dale Knisley, age 74, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 in Regina, SK. Dale was born in Regina on May 26, 1945, youngest of two children to Wilbert and Margorie Knisley. Dale lived the majority of his life in Regina. He worked as a carpet and floor layer but his real passion was cooking for and spending time with his family and friends. Dale loved to host parties and surround himself with people important to him. Every year he and Jean would host holiday celebrations where they would cook and bake meals and filled their house to the brim with friends and family. Dale had a heart of gold and was always willing to help the people around him. He loved his dogs Spikey, Johnny and TukTuk. Dale will be lovingly remembered by his life-partner Jean Cobb; son Danny Knisley and his partner Keshia Peter; grandson Dawson, as well as his two closest friends Don Young and Ted James, who he was friends with for over 50 years. Dale’s ashes will be combined with his beloved daughter, Kristy Marjorie-Anne Knisley, who passed away at the age of 5 in 1992. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020. Graveside Ceremony will be at 12:30 p.m. at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 815 Assiniboine Ave. E., Regina, SK followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. at Broadway United Church, 105 Broadway Ave., Regina, SK. A time of fellowship will follow to celebrate Dale’s life.
