Obituary of Scott Henry Moore

Please share a memory of Scott to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Scott Henry Moore, 65, of White City, Saskatchewan passed away in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by his family on December 21st, 2019. Scott is survived by his family Frank (Teneille), Ceili (Jared) and Sheila, and brothers Randy (Colleen) and Jeff (Shannon) Scott was born in Ottawa to parents Bill and Doreen. He graduated from Campbell Collegiate in Regina, and went on to become a Journeyman Electrician. Scott was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for thirty-five years, and travelled the country working shut downs and construction projects. Scott had a reputation for being frugal, so it was only fitting that one of his favourite hobbies was collecting coins - literally collecting money. In the last few years, he moved to White City into a new house that he took pleasure into making a home; he may have become one of Wayfair’s best customers! Scott also loved cars, and while his driveway boasts a variety of American badges, he was a die-hard Chevy man and his ’72 Impala was the prize of his collection. The last few years, Scott battled a hereditary form of kidney disease which came with daily hardship. However he was able to enjoy himself and his family whether it was working in his garden, polishing his cars, or sitting in his recliner watching war movies. Dad, we hope that you’ve found peace, and that God will gift you an eternal life without pain. We are sure that our dogs Wishbone and Holly have been waiting patiently for you and are elated to have you join them in Heaven. Thank you to Dr. Richardson and all the staff at the RGH Renal Unit for taking such great care of Dad over the years, and to the Nurses from Senior House Calls for helping us keep Dad at home and comfortable in his last days. And a very heartfelt, thank you to Rob Wallenburg for being the most wonderful and genuine friend to Dad. A family only service will take place on Friday, December 27th, and afterwards please join us for a Come & Go reception from 6pm-8pm in Dad’s home (Please contact the family or the hall for address). Donations in memory of Scott can be made to the Regina Humane Society.
