Josie passed away peacefully on December 8, 2019 at the age of 91. Josie is predeceased by her beloved husband, Joe; parents Peter and Yvonne Hoffart; sisters Annabelle (Harry) Burghardt and Helen (Hugh) Rolufs; and brothers Leonard (Francis) Hoffart and Emile Hoffort. She is survived by her daughter, Janet; grandchildren Selena (Brandon), Kimberly (Aaron), Steven and Douglas; great-grandchildren Tanner, Brynn, Mikayla, Sonya, Aaron, and Brooke; and great great-grandson Xavier; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Josie was best known for her laugh, the gift of gab, and her impeccable memory. Josie lived a full life, and in recent years looked forward to coffee Tuesdays, card night at the Senior’s Club, and Saturday night dance party. Her many stories of the “old days” will be greatly missed. Thank you to the many professionals that took excellent care of Josie over the years: Dr. Duffy, Dr. Avram, the team at the Family Medicine Unit, Seniors House Calls, EMS, and most recently Pasqua 4A, Pasqua Palliative Care, and Wascana Grace Hospice. A very special thank you to the homecare team, especially Jennifer and Regina. She spoke so highly of you and looked forward to your morning visits. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, December 16, 2019, at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, 100 Argyle St North, Regina, SK. Donations in memory of Josie can be made to the Hospitals of Regina Foundation or Wascana Grace Hospice.
