David Bruce Griffin late of Regina, passed away on December 2, 2019 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by his parents Lewis and Margaret; his eldest son Randy; brothers Donald (Mary) and Russel; sister-in-law Margaret and his beloved pets Wally and Marmalade. David is survived by his loving wife Carolyn of 55 years; children and grandchildren Christopher (Lynette) Caleb, Davin, Isaac; Timothy (Kathleen) Mackenzie, Avery, Caden; and Tricia (Jared Nerbas) Giada, Vayda; sister June Hill (Gerald); brother Gordon and numerous nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. David was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec and moved to the prairies in 1973 where he worked as a taxi driver for over forty years and raised his family.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors doing many activities - especially working on his tan. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and bragging about them.  He liked to go for walks with his dog Wally.  David appreciated spending time with his church Bible Study group.  The thing that David valued most in his life was his personal relationship with Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior. A celebration of David’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m on Friday December 6, 2019 at Avonhurst Pentecostal Assembly, 3200 Avonhurst Dr., Regina, SK with Pastor Brad Thomas officiating. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, Regina Humane Society or Youth with a Mission (www.ywam.org).
