Obituary of Leo Frank Klein

Leo Klein, late of Regina passed away on November 26, 2019 at the age of 83 years. He was predeceased by his parents James and Margaret (Knoll) Klein and brother Jim. Leo is survived by his loving wife Doreen of 60 years; daughter Denise (Brian) Cattell; two granddaughters Ashley (Andrew Foreman) and Breanna (Chason Lawrence); great granddaughter Claire; sisters Mildred (Henry) Dreher, Marjorie (Hank) Fehr, Marlene (Clarence) Gutzke; sisters in law Diane Klein (Jim), Gerry (Frank) Theriualt and Freda Huber; and numerous nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Leo had a passion for baseball and played third base. He also loved hockey and played left wing for the Regina Cardinals. Leo worked for McMillian Bathurst for 40 years and enjoyed the fellowship in the Knights of Columbus for over 30 years. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Parish, 425 Broad St. N., Regina, SK with Fr. James Owolagba as Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leo’s memory to the Lung Association of Saskatchewan or Canadian Diabetes Association.
