Obituary of George Ritsco

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George, late of Regina (formerly of Kayville), on Friday, October 18, 2019, at the Regina General Hospital with lung cancer, at the age of 82 years, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was predeceased by his parents, Dan and Mary Ritsco. George is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Loretta; son, Dr. Ronald Ritsco of Houston, Texas; granddaughter, Ehmry; brothers Nick, Paul and Harold; sisters Ruth, Kay and Sophie; brother-in-law Ron (Diane) and their children, Shannon, Kevin and Kim; Shelley and Deidre; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. George had a successful career of 33 years with Crown Mart Stores, where he started in the lumber yard and at the end of his career was the Operations Manager for Western Canada. George travelled a lot and made many friends over the years. George enjoyed designing homes, coaching and playing hockey, and working around the backyard. At George’s request a private family graveside service will be held at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, Regina, SK at a later date. Flowers are graciously declined.
