Obituary of Kent Lynn

Please share a memory of Kent to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Kent lost his life peacefully to cancer on October 27, 2019. Kent was a life-long learner and an accomplished educator in the Regina Public School Board. He was a dedicated volunteer and community member in the town of Lumsden, where he spent many hours walking and enjoying the beauty of the prairies. His kindness and generosity touched everyone around him, and will be held in the hearts of his family. Kent joins his first wife Christine, who lost her life to cancer in 2010. Kent was blessed to find love again and marry Judy. Together, Kent and Judy spent five and a half wonderful years travelling the world, loving life and finding joy with their families. Kent’s children, their spouses and grandchildren include: Colin Lynn (Amy Wisniewski, Abby Lynn, Sadie Lynn), Tasha Kenny (David Kenny, Courtney Kenny), Aaron Lynn (Kristin Nelson, Leo Lynn, Vivie Lynn).  Kent is also survived by his siblings, Chip and Judy Ann, their families and many friends. A Celebration of Life and gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Lumsden Centennial Hall. Many thanks to all of the staff of the Palliative Care Unit 3A at the Regina Pasqua Hospital, who supported the family and made Kent’s time there so much more comfortable. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Hospitals of Regina Foundation, Palliative Care Unit, Suite 225, 1874 Scarth St., Regina, SK, S4P 4B3.
