Obituary of Robert Donald Armstrong

Gratitude and grief are woven together as we share the news of Bob's death on October 4, 2019. We are so thankful for the ways he shared life's journey with us but we grieve the loss of his love and light in our lives. 

Bob was born on April 14, 1943 in Hamilton, Ont. and moved to Vancouver to attend UBC. His life's work as a Certified Professional Accountant led him to Lethbridge, Yorkton and Regina, followed by retirement in Southey. 
Bob was predeceased by his parents Lillian Norman and Wm. Armstrong; and his step-daughter Ashley Kyle-Tyndale. Cherishing his memory are his wife Danna; daughter Meredith (Dave) Courneyea; son Colin Armstrong (Ralph DeMario); step-son Alan Kyle; step-son-in-law Daymion (Nicole) Tyndale; his two precious granddaughters, Rebecca Courneyea and Madison Tyndale; his sister Ruth Brandon and her children; sister-in-law Kari (Carl) Wlock; nieces Rhonda and Karla Wlock (Blaine); and nephew Dan (Jill) Wlock and family. 
A celebration of Bob's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2019 in the Southey United Church, with family friend Rev. Laura Sundberg officiating.
