Please share a memory of Elizabeth to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with deep sadness, the family of Betty Lou McDonald, announce her peaceful passing, with her family by her side, after a brief and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Betty Lou is survived by her soul mate and loving husband of 50 years, Glen McDonald; her children and best friends Trevor (Jennifer) McDonald, Chandra (Darryl) Harbaruk, Jason (Kayce) McDonald, and Maryann (René) Benoit; her 10 beloved grandchildren Joshua, Ryan, Dustynn, Ashton, Trista, Anna, Caleb, Alexa, Noah and Jack; sister Janice (Cecil) Wheeler; brother Mike Keenan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is welcomed home to heaven by her parents Claude and Patricia Keenan; her sister Cheryl; her sister-in-law Joyce; and her niece Cathy. Betty Lou spent her life caring for others as a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, Nana and nurse.  Her most joyous moments were sharing love and laughter with friends and family.  Her family moves on with heavy hearts, strengthened by the unbreakable bond she built and nurtured throughout her days. She planted her values in everyone she touched. The foundation of love that she inspired among her friends and family has left a lasting imprint on this earth that we will always cherish, and one which will carry forward for generations to come. A Celebration of Betty Lou’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2019 at Church of Our Lady R.C. Parish, 566 Vaughan St., Moose Jaw, SK with Fr. Leonardo Tamayo as Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty Lou’s memory may be made to the Wigmore Hospital, 55 Diefenbaker Dr, Moose Jaw, SK S6J 1M5.
