Feesel, Ray

Ray passed away peacefully with his family by his side on March 12, 2018 at the age of 87 years old from a short courageous battle with cancer. Ray was born on May 22, 1930 in Silton, SK. He grew up in the Silton area until 1946 when they moved to Regina. In 1956 he married Helen (Lautsch), and recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary. He was predeceased by his parents Christian & Mary Feesel; siblings Aileen Picard, Adeline Fay and Arnold Feesel.  He leaves behind his loving wife Helen, and 2 daughters Gina Marie Schmidt (Keith); grandchildren AJ Shenner, Erika Shenner (Fiancée Brad); Donna Lynn Langman (Doug); grandchildren, Joshua (Andee), Jesse-Ray (Corbin), Elijah (Toma) and Zachariah, and great-granddaughter Zanna. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday March 15, 2018 at St Cecilia’s Church, 5020 7th Avenue, Regina SK. Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday March 16, 2018 at St Cecilia’s Church, 5020 7th Avenue, Regina, SK. All are welcome. I would like to thank all those who helped Ray during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made in tribute of Ray Feesel to either Palliative Care Services or The Canadian Cancer Society.
