Tanya Lynn Papequash

Tanya passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Regina General Hospital on Friday, January 19, 2018 at the age of 42. She is predeceased by her Grandmother Joan Desjarlais; father Leonard Piapot; brother Marvin Papequash; sisters Chasity Papequash and Prescilla Desjarlais; cousins Perry Desjarlais, Cassandra Desjarlais and Nicole Keshane. Tanya’s memory will be cherished by her mother Barbara Piapot; children Everette, Tashina and Ava; loving partner David Demyen; brothers Ashley (Jaclyn), Justin, Michael, Ken (Tina) and Leon; sisters Sandra (Harley), Terrilyn (Laurie), Colleen, Sonya, Hertha (Darcy), Roberta (Warren), Delores and Leanne as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Traditional Wake will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Piapot First Nation Band Hall, Piapot First Nation, SK with a Traditional Funeral held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Piapot First Nation Band Hall with Elders officiating.
