Obituary of Evelyn Szigli

After a brief battle with cancer, Evelyn passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, October 15, 2017. She was predeceased by her mother and father, infant brother, husband Mike Szigli and daughter Diane Sexsmith. Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by her son Alfred (Pat) and their family, Rhonda (Russ), Kristin (Doug) Brady and Riley; son Allan (Janice) and their family, Daniel (Amanda) Gavin and Addison, Darcy (Jenna) Nixon and Nash; son – in – law Grant Sexsmith; sister Annie Smotra; brothers John (Emily) Macza, Louis Macza, Frank Macza, Andy Macza (Flora) and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. A special thank you to all who were involved in Evelyn’s care and helped her to stay in her own home to enjoy her family, friends and garden until the final few days of her life. She will be deeply missed and forever loved. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Broadway United Church, 105 Broadway Ave., Regina, SK with Rev. Jim Balfour officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Evelyn’s memory can be made to Regina Wascana Grace Hospice.
