October 20, 1924 – October 7, 2017
Leo passed away peacefully at Santa Maria Nursing Home. He was born and raised in the German Colony of Alexandrowha, Ukraine and immigrated to Regina in 1953. Here he raised his family and became a successful contractor. He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Agnes who passed away in 2009. He is survived by his children Norbert Berger, Elizabeth (Larry) Wingert, Adelheid Berger, John (Karen) Berger and Richard Berger; grandchildren Sandi (Clinton), Austin and Brian (Laurel) Wingert. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home, 4215 Regina Ave., Regina, SK. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a donation to a charity of their choice.
