Sandra and family,
Claudette and I are very saddened by the news of Angus's death. We worked and traveled together on many jobs, and I will miss him deeply. You know they say that you go through life and have many acquaintances but if you are lucky you are blessed with a few true friends. I count Angus as one of my true friends. I don't think anyone could find a friend that was truly unselfish, great family man, positive, and a great UA brother, as Angus was. He fought the good fight with dignity. I know he's at peace in a better place. he will be missed by all who knew him.

Dear Sandra and family.
I have had the privilege of knowing and working with Angus (or Uncle Angus, the nickname I started many years ago) for over 20 years. As his nickname implies he was more than just a friend and coworker to all of the people he worked with. I will always remember Angus for his great sense of humour, constant smiling face, positive attitude and willingness to help everyone he met. As a welder he was second to none. I thanked him many times at Balzers fab shop for making my job easy. When performing visual inspections on welds if I saw the AMW welder ID I beside a weld I would know that it was done with pride and to the highest quality always. My sincerest condolences goes out to you and your family. The world and Balzer's fab shop will never be the same without Uncle Angus being a part of it.

Angus you were a man of true strength and had immense determination to keep on fighting this horrible disease the best you could. You will always be in our hearts for ever and ever. Thanks for loving Kevin the way you did. He is forever grateful for your existence in his life. It was an honour for him to get to work with you. You made him a great tradesmen even if he liked his "toffee" hammer! Thanks for all the phone calls over the years but especially this past year! It never got old hearing you call me love. You loved Kevin but you also cared so much about how his kids and wife were doing.... that "caring" characteristic isnt always something easy to come by but you showed it with such genuineness! Rest easy love and by the way Kevin came across and bought a real toffee hammer the day before you went to heaven. We will keep in the truck hanging always to remember you! Kevin will hold all the fun times close to his heart. Sandra and Sydney our condolences to you. Angus is gone way too soon. May god give you strength as you move forward with your new normal. Seems so unfair. You are in our prayers ..big hugs!

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Angus was a great man.
I met him in castlegar when I was a first year apprentice.
Our paths crossed several times over the next 25 years. It was always a pleasure to work with him and see him socially.
There was no better man to work with or have a social with.
He will be sorely missed.

Sandra and Family: Words cannot express our profound sadness for our dear friend. He was a man of honour and humility, always thinking and caring for those around him, especially his loving family.
His pure joy of life itself was infectious for all that he touched. The smile and laugh are memories that I shall never forget.
His dedication and perfection for his work was always a trademark of the man himself, as he mentored many in the welding profession.
We shall miss him deeply, and I know we will toast a tot together once again in the future
Hugs to you and the kids: Pat and Randy
