Obituary of Eleanor Schnurr

ELEANOR MARY SCHNURR
We lost our beloved Mother on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the age of 88 years. Eleanor was born March 21, 1929 to Peter and Barbara Glabus. She grew up on the family farm in Lake Lenore, SK, the youngest of five children, Trudy, Bill, Leona and Eileen. She moved to Saskatoon and worked as a telephone operator. Eleanor met our father George at the Shasta Café and they married October 12, 1949. Mom was a quiet person and loved taking care of the family. She baked homemade bread and cookies and she loved to read and listen to music, especially Charlie Pride. She also loved to embroider. Eleanor was predeceased by her daughter Peggy in 2012 and her husband in 2013. She leaves to mourn her daughters Barbara and Linda; son Gary; as well as her nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Paragon Funeral Services, 521 Victoria Ave., Regina, SK.
