Obituary of Cheryl Lynn Aston

ASTON, CHERYL LYNN
August 16, 1949 - June 18, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cheryl on June 18, 2017 at the age of 67 years following a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves behind her loving husband Gene; sons John (Tamara) and Jarret; grandsons Riley and Brody; sister Barb (Rod) Vanjoff; brother Lawrence Leir (Pam Carlson); brothers in law Merv (Georgie-Anne) Aston and Blair (Laurie) Aston; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Cheryl was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Lillian Leir. The family would like to thank the Palliative Care staff at the Regina Pasqua Hospital for the compassionate care they provided. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at St. Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church, Grenfell, SK with Rev. Willie Lourens presiding. The Interment will follow at St. Andrew’s Ceylon Cemetery, south of Grenfell. Family and friends so wishing may make a donation in Cheryl’s name to a charity of their choice.
