Obituary of Tina Hun-Taw Kwong

Tina Kwong, of Regina, SK, passed away at the age of 74, on Sunday, February 11, 2024. She was a member of the Regina Chinese Alliance Church, and it is a great comfort to know that she is in Heaven and that she is with our lord now.

 

Tina immigrated from Hong Kong with her parents in 1965, to Swift Current, SK, and lived there until she graduated high school. After high school, she then moved to Regina to attend university and earned a degree in the Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Later, Tina took a course in Business Administration. She decided to settle down in Regina and found the best fit for her was at Dewdney Drugs, where she was a regular fixture until she was diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer. So, she decided to retire a few years ago. In her spare time, Tina enjoyed reading business and recipe books.

 

Tina has many nieces and nephews living in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia that will lovingly remember her.

 

Tina was cremated on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 and she will be intered later beside her mother and father, in Mount Pleasant Burial Park, in Swift Current, SK. Her wishes were not to have any formal services, and so in memory of her, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Regina Chinese Alliance Church.
