Obituary of Sharon Elizabeth Statham

It is with great sadness that the family of Sharon Statham announce her passing on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at the age of 76 after a short battle with cancer.

Sharon will be fondly remembered by her family: Patty (Gerry), Cheri (Blair), Corey (Corina) and Debbie (Lance); sisters Brenda and Lynda; as well as many nieces and nephews. Sharon's greatest joy were her 10 grandchildren: Dusty, Taylor, Tyler, Mackenzie, Joshua, Dakota, Karrington, Lee, Cody and Tristan; and her five great-grandchildren: Emery, Noah, Maverick, Paisley and Sawyer. She was predeceased by her husband Orville Statham; parents Robert and Margaret Powers; sister Bobbie Dyck; brother-in-law Alfred Statham; sister-in-law Fairlie Statham.

Sharon's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence, and the imprint that she left on our hearts, far exceed her years on this earth. 

Sharon was a gentle soul who leaves her family with cherished memories of a person who was loved and loved in this life. 

A Graveside Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
