Obituary of Marlene Joan Materi

It is with great sadness that the family of Marlene Materi (nee Birk) announce her passing on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at the age of 81 years. Marlene is survived by her son Guy Materi; daughter Colleen (Richard) Tinline; granddaughter Pamela Bodnar; brother William Birk; as well as numerous extended family. She was predeceased by her parents William and Anna Birk; grandson Cody Tinline; sister Dorothy Kohnen; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and relatives. Important things in Marlene’s life were faith, family, good friends, patience, kindness, caring and hard work. Per Marlene’s wishes, no funeral will be held.  We ask that you include Marlene in your prayers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MS Society or to a charity of your choice.
