Obituary of Pearl Bushell

It is with sadness that the family of Pearl Katherine Bushell, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, announce her passing on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the age of 86 years. Pearl will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 64 years, Ron; children, Cathy (Kelly), Brent (Patricia), and Kevin; grandchildren, Kimberley (Drew) and Kristen; and sister, Elaine (Bernie);  in-law, Peggy Bushell; nephew, Jim; and niece, Karen Bushell.

Pearl and Ron met in high school. Together they had three children, Cathy, Brent and Kevin, born in Moose Jaw.

They loved to travel, making many trips to the United Kingdom and Europe. Summer trips travelling around Canada and United States with Winter trips to Disney World. Pearl and Ron always enjoyed a good square dance.

Pearl was the homemaker for the family. With her at home, there was never a spot of dust to be found, or an empty stomach. Pearl loved to cook, and always had time for her children and grandchildren.

When the kids were old enough, Pearl went to work at People’s and Birks jewelry stores. After retirement, Pearl and Ron would head to Panama City Beach, Florida for the Winter, where they had many friends.
