Obituary of Marvin Wayne Levesque

With heavy hearts, we announce Marvin Wayne Levesque passed away Friday, June 24,2022, after a lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 81.   Marvin was born September 9, 1940 in Moose Jaw SK. 

Marvin is survived by his companion of over 25 years Jan McKinney; children Tina (Mike), Roxanne (Erich) and Tanya; stepdaughter Debbie; son Mark; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; sisters June and Twink; brothers Ernie (Bev) and Doug (Yaqing); as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Marlon; parents, mother Lois and father Arthur; sisters Shirley, Deanne, Carol Ann and Cathie; and brothers Ronnie, Larry, Bob and Gerald.

Marvin came from a musical family, they enjoyed getting together, pulling out the instruments (including the spoons), singing, dancing and having a good old time. He also liked listening to country music and golden oldies.

He was a lifetime member of the Ironworkers Local 771 for over 54 years.  During the lean years Marvin owned MW Levesque House Movers and Unified Jacking. 

In his retirement years, he loved gardening, watching birds and feeding the squirrels. Marvin always had a project on the go and enjoyed lending a helping hand to family, friends and neighbors. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, wisdom, vibrancy.

The family wishes to thank all the staff at the Pasqua Hospital ER, Allen Blair Cancer Centre, Palliative Home Care, Palliative Care Unit – 3A, Security staff – for our many trips in and out. As well as Chaplain’s Jerry, Bonnie and the social workers.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Regina Memorial Gardens, 4001 Victoria Avenue East, Regina, SK.
