Obituary of Chester George Forre
FORRE, Chester George
Chester George (Bud) Forre went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on December 29, 2018, at the age of 87. Bud was born March 29, 1931 on the home quarter near Big Beaver, SK. He farmed in the area for fifty years, enjoyed tending to his cattle and especially his horses Chimes and Dixie. Bud loved country/gospel music, singing and playing his guitar entertaining family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, enjoying the time with his family. He spent the past six and a half years at Extendicare Parkside after suffering a debilitating heart attack. Bud is predeceased by his son James, parents Chester and Mary Forre as well as two sisters: Clarice Ainley and Lillian Smith. Bud is survived by his loving wife Donna (of sixty-three years), three daughters: Terrill (John) and their sons: Johnny and Jamie (Madison); Debbie (Blair) and their daughters: Kristalee and Katelyn (Wil); Janice (Daryl) and their children: Jeffrey (Elani) and their sons Levi and Derek, Katherine, Kristina (Garrett), and Michael. He is also survived by four sisters: Martha Bogress, Julia Patterson, Shirley Lalonde, Sonja (Richard)Scholz, sister-in-law Lucille Sawin as well as many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the Parkside staff for the kindess and care that Chester received. There will be a memorial service at the Big Beaver Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one’s choice.
