Obituary of Cassidy Alexander Blacksioux

Cassidy passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the age of 28. He is survived by his parents Deano Blacksioux and Patricia Akachuk; grandparents Karen and Robert George; children Terrell, Santana, Damien and Arianna; siblings Alisha Asham, Nathan, Dylan and Autumn; nieces and nephews Dominick, Aaron, Jaden, Naliyah, Aubrey, Ryder, Kadience, Dorian, Teegan and Illiano as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members. Cassidy was predeceased by his sister Stacee Blacksioux; paternal grandparents Louis and Gladys Blacksioux, maternal grandparents Stanley Henderson and Jean Akachuk; uncle Ralph; cousin Sheldon. Thank you to the doctors, nurses, social worker and staff of Pasqua Hospital ICU for the exceptional care. Wake will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Piapot Community Hall, Piapot First Nation, SK. Funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from the same location with interment to follow at the Blacksioux Family Cemetery, Piapot First Nation.
