And in the peace you have lived, may you move on. We wish to share with our family and friends the news of Laurie’s passing on November 14, 2018. Laurence John Moskowy leaves to celebrate his long and joyous life his family: his devoted wife of 60 years, Marion; children Michael, Alan, Greg, Wendy and Lilah, and Raelynn, Kelly, Will, Ben & Luke. The family shall announce the date for a celebration of Laurie’s life, to be held at the Milestone Memorial Rink, within the coming months. We cannot let go the unmentioned kind and consistent care Laurie received during his stay at Wascana Veterans Hospital. The nurses, doctors, and support team, who inspired dance, conversation, and harmonica moments, added to his comfortable final weeks.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made back to the town Laurie loved and the places of his many passions, the rink and swimming pool - Milestone Swimming Pool Fundraiser or Milestone Rink, Town of Milestone, PO Box 74, Milestone, SK, S0G 3L0.
