SAMBROOK, Bob

January 9, 1926 – October 27, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Robert Charles Sambrook on Saturday, October 27, 2018. Leaving to cherish his memory is Eunice, his loving wife of 66 years. He will be deeply missed by his children, Donna (Gordon), Debbie (Brian) and Gary (Shannon). He was so proud of his grandchildren Scott (Lisa), Chad, Travis, Trevor (Jordyn), Jenna and Tori and great-grandchildren, Kurtis and Erik, who all loved “Grandpa Bob” so very much. He is also survived by his sister Dorothy; sisters-in-law Doris and Doreen; brother-in-law Art and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob was a true prairie boy who loved farming. He was born, raised and farmed in the Milestone area for over 88 years. After he retired, he enjoyed watching baseball, curling, golf and the CFL. He was an avid reader, played bridge for many years and truly loved to dance. Bob’s sense of humor and genuine love of people helped him make many close friends when he and Eunice moved to Northfair Manor in 2014. Treasured time with family and friends, card games, puzzles and laughter filled much of his time since moving to Regina. A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 9, 2018 at the Masonic Hall in Milestone, SK.  Lunch to follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Soul’s Harbour in Regina or the charity of your choice.
