GARDINER, Jill

With great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Jill, a beloved wife, loving mother, sister and dear friend on October 24, 2018. She died peacefully with her family at her side. Jill was born and grew up in Kempston, Bedfordshire in England where she met her future husband Bill.  They married in August of 1960 and enjoyed 58 wonderful years of marriage and life together. Jill & Bill emigrated to Canada in 1970, first settling in Estevan and eventually moving to Regina in 1974 where they lived through today. Jill was the anchor of the family, an amazing mother to her kids and the one lifelong partner to her husband. One of her great joys was travel to new places and to take trips with and to her family in the US and the UK. She enjoyed games with friend & family and was a past member of Regina K-ettes. Jill was predeceased by her parents Cyril and Edna Cox (nee Battson) and her infant son Christopher. She is survived and lovingly missed by her husband Bill, daughter Jane (Scott) of Regina, son Steve (Krystal) of Chicago; grandchildren Nicholas and Natalie, as well as her sister Heather and brother in law Bob; nephew Dave (Shona); niece Julia (David) and their daughter Georgia all from England.
