Obituary of Alfred James Desjarlais

DESJARLAIS, Alfred

November 8, 1943 – October 18, 2018

Alfred passed away suddenly at the Pasqua Hospital at the age of 74 years. He was predeceased by his parents John B and Edna (Nahnepowisk) Desjarlais; brother Harry Desjarlais; sister Daisy Desjarlais and sons Deon Mantee and Kevin Mantee. Alfred will be lovingly remembered by the mother of his children, Mary Mantee; children Donna, Annette (Brian), Nelson (Sheila) and Everette; brothers Robert “Bob” Desjarlais and Arnold “Chop” Desjarlais; adopted sisters Dianne Toto, Marilyn Anaquod and Josephine Piapot. A Traditional Wake will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Piapot Community Hall, Piapot First Nation, SK with Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 22, 2018 from the same location. Interment will follow at Piapot Cemetery.
