Obituary of Malcolm Allan MacDonald

Mac passed away September 3rd 2018 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by parents Mary & Allan MacDonald. Siblings Isabelle and Butch. He is survived by Margaret, his loving wife of 63 years. His children Heather (Don), Tammy (Kelly) and Allan (Lisa). Grandchildren Amber, Ace and Layne (Megan), and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Special mention to the Kruger family
for their long-time friendship. We also would like to give cousin Sandra Morrison special recognition for her strength and support during this difficult time. Mac was a proud member of the Iron Workers Local 771, moved into independent trucking and finally ended his career with the Corps of Commissioners. Mac was well known for his determination, tenacity and remarkably quick witted sense of humor. Mac touched numerous lives and was loved by many. He was an avid hobbyist with such interests as trains, building hit and miss engines, as well as collecting miniature cars, trucks, motorcycles and other various pieces. Mac also loved to fix or improve items for day to day use and was always toiling away at some project in the garage. In the early 2000’s Mac rekindled his love
of riding motorcycles. Mac was also known for his love of animals. Specifically their lifesaving cat Moe. Mac was truly a treasure and he will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church.
