Q: What will you never forget about Oscar?
A: Professor Seawell was my engineering professor at U of Regina. He made a strong and postive impression in my study. His tireless dedication and hard work to engineering education that deeply influenced me in my career later on. The nuclear reactor simulation course he taught in EN200 using FORTRAN computer language really fascinated me and it gave me a good foundation to complete my study there. I am grateful for his leadership and perseverance in successfully developing the Industrial Systems Engineering program from the ground. I was one of the 11 graduates from the first Systems Engineering graduating class in 1981. Thank you very much, Professor Seawell and God bless your soul.

Our sincerest condolences and love to you at this truly sad time. Jean and I are travelling and have only just heard of Oscar's passing. He was a wonderful man and always a pleaaure to speak with.
