WHITE, Robert G.

Bob White passed away peacefully on August 30, 2018 surrounded by family at the age of 87. He was predeceased by his wife Florence; son in law Barry Taylor; siblings Jack, Peggy, Pat and Don and parents Ruby and Jack White. He will be lovingly remembered by daughters Sandra (Darcy Ready), Susan (Jeff Hicks); grandchildren Mackenzie (Lucas), Alexandra, Alex (Michelle), Forest (Melissa), Julia, Joshua, Jarred and Easton; sisters Marge Federico and Maxine Aitken. Also known as Uncle Bud, he is survived by many nieces and nephews. Dad was born in Regina and had a rewarding career with the Leader Post as a journeyman typesetter. Because dad worked thirty plus years at the newspaper, he was extremely knowledgeable about local history and world affairs. Dad loved to chat about the CFL and especially the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Seeing the Riders play at the new stadium was an exciting even the crossed off his bucket list. The other passion in his life was his grandkids. Dad was their biggest fan at all their events. A Celebration of Dad’s life will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 3, 2018 at St. Anne’s Parish Hall, 1701 Cowan Cr., Regina, SK. Parking is at the back of the church.
