Obituary of Arthur Erhardt Sander

Art passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 11, 2018. He was born on June 8, 1941 in Germany. Art will be lovingly remembered by his wife Valerie; daughter Brenda (Darren) Higgins; grandson Jason (Taneeka) and granddaughter Alli Higgins. He is predeceased by his parents Johann and Rosalie Sander; sister Hertha Sander at a young age; brother Willie Sander; father and mother in law Paul and Frieda Hafner. Art came to Canada with his family in 1950 to Monarch, AB. The family lived and worked on a beet farm while Art went to school. In 1959 the family moved on to the Harry Fleming farm near Wolseley, SK. Art and Val were marred on December 18, 1982. They resided on the family farm until 2010, when they retired to White City, SK. A Celebration of Art’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Broadway United Church, 105 Broadway Ave., Regina, SK.
